We are excited to be able to be able to hold Rotary Hockey Final Day Weekend. These two days of exciting hockey bring the conclusion of another great hockey season to an end. It will be a jam packed weekend and this year we will once again be at the Allman Memorial Arena. The full schedule can be found below and is also available on our website here: 2022FinalDaySchedule

For everyone who has been able to participate in the past, you will see a few changes from what you may be used to. We have kept it much simpler to comply with the COVID protocols and also to avoid a financial impact of having to possibly cancel Final Day Weekend due to COVID. We do look forward to bringing back some of our traditions in the future.

Highlighted below are some of the changes we’ve made:
  • Admission fees – there will not be any admission fees charged this year. Instead, we are asking everyone to donate non-perishable food items. There will be boxes at the front of the arena for your donations. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
  • Prize Raffle – there will not be a prize raffle this year. Since this requires people to congregate in and around the lobby, the COVID Protocols do not permit this type of activity to take place. This project requires lots of planning in advance and there are financial implications if it has to be cancelled.
  • Medal Presentations – while normally we would have the teams proceed to the Upper Lobby for medals and award presentations, this does not comply with the COVID Protocols which require participants to be out of the arena in 15 minutes following the game. This year, medals will instead be presented on the ice immediately following the game.
  • Jersey and Goalie Equipment Return – please ensure you bring any Rotary Hockey items to the arena with you. Refund cheques for the ice lost due to the January shut-down will be handed out with the return of jerseys and equipment.

Good news!! Our registration for next year is open now. Please register to guarantee your spot for next year. The registration form can be found here:
