Return to Hockey!
Submitted By Jacques Laurin on Tue 01 25, 22
Hello Hockey Families,
Rotary Hockey is happy to announce that we are getting ready to resume hockey starting Monday January 31st 2022. With last week’s announcement from the Province, the City facilities will be open on Monday and we will resume our season.

The ice schedules have been updated on the website so please check there for the most up-to-date information.  The following divisions should pay particular attention to schedule changes:
  • U14: Games have been added to the schedule on Monday February 21st.
  • U16 & U20: Pool Play games have been shifted to start a couple weeks later and will now extend through to the end of March to get the full playoff round games completed to end the season.

All COVID safety protocols remain in place. In particular, please remember:

  • Masks must be worn at all times - except when on the ice.
  • Proof of vaccine QR Code along with ID are required for everyone 12 or over to be granted access to the facility. Your QR Code must be able to be scanned by security.
  • Spectators are not allowed food or drinks in the arena – as masks are required at all times.
  • The screening questionnaire must be completed prior to entering the arenas. The link to complete this online can be found here:

The full details of arena COVID protocols can be found here on the City’s website:

What about a refunds? Rotary Hockey will calculate and reimburse players for the ice time lost due to arena closures at the end of the season.

Let’s Play Hockey!
