The City has notified us of a change to the entrance protocols for all City of Stratford facilities and arenas. Information from the City can be found on their website here:

Starting on Sunday October 31st everyone entering the arenas including players over 12 years old (so U14, U16 and U20) must be fully vaccinated and will be required to provide proof of vaccination to enter the facility. Just a reminder – fully vaccinated means 2 doses and at least 14 days since that second dose was administered.
In addition to providing that proof, they will also be required to provide identification to confirm their identity.
Especially for those under 16 years, Photo ID is not a must.
The following pieces of ID are being accepted by the City:
•
Birth Certificates
•
Citizenship Card
•
Government (Ontario or other) issued identification card including Health Card
•
Indian Status Card
•
Passport
•
Driver’s license
•
Permanent Resident Card
While security would prefer to scan the new QR Code using the “Verify Ontario” app for your proof of vaccination, the paper copy is still acceptable. The QR scanning is quicker for everyone involved.
PLEASE MAKE SURE TO BRING YOUR CHILD’S ID WITH YOU. IT IS REQUIRED TO BE ADMITTED TO THE ARENAS.
The other existing COVID protocols remain in effect. Please review these with your child and anyone else attending hockey to ensure they are aware of the rules. Active Screening continues to be in effect.
Lastly – I would like to remind everyone to be courteous and respectful with the security at the arena entrances. They are only doing the job they were hired to do. If you are denied access because you are missing your proof or proper ID, then please abide by their instructions. Without proper proof and ID you will be denied access.
